Erin Kraemer
Senior Principal Technical Product Manager, AWS Agentic AI

Erin Kraemer is a Senior Principal Technical Product Manager with AWS Agentic AI. She has been actively engaged with software development at Amazon for nearly 25 years. In 2022, she became the founding product leader for Amazon’s internal developer experience team, Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX). Prior to ASBX, Erin spent 20 years working in technical roles in Amazon’s retail businesses, growing from an entry-level web developer to serving on an executive level leadership team.

Dave Levy
Vice President Worldwide Public Sector, AWS

As Vice President of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Public Sector, Dave leads government, education, aerospace and satellite, and nonprofit businesses globally. He also leads healthcare and life sciences in North America. Previously, Dave served for six years as the Vice President of U.S. Government, Nonprofit, and Global Healthcare businesses for AWS. Before joining AWS, Dave worked for Apple Inc. for 12 years and led the teams that helped the government adopt innovative mobile technologies. Under his leadership, Apple’s public sector business grew rapidly. As head of the U.S. public sector, he played a key role in introducing and adopting mobile devices and mobile apps in federal, state, and local governments. In addition to his executive career, Dave co-founded Sulla Technology Group, where, as COO, he built a successful data center services company focused on higher education clients and state and local governments. Dave serves on the M Health Fairview Health System board in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the Innovation and Research Board for Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Barry Cooks
Vice President of Serverless Compute Services, AWS

Barry is a global enterprise technology veteran with 25 years of experience leading teams in cloud computing, hardware design, application microservices, artificial intelligence, and more. As Vice President of Compute Services at Amazon, he is responsible for compute abstractions (containers, serverless, VMware, micro-VMs), quantum experimentation, high performance computing, and AI training. He oversees key AWS services including AWS Lambda, Amazon Elastic Container Service, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, and Amazon SageMaker. Barry also leads responsible AI initiatives across AWS, promoting the safe and ethical development of AI as a force for good. Prior to joining Amazon in 2022, Barry served as CTO at DigitalOcean, where he guided the organization through its successful IPO. His career also includes leadership roles at VMware and Sun Microsystems. Barry holds a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Oregon.

Mai-Lan Tomsen Bukovec
Vice President, Technology, Data and Analytics, AWS

Mai-Lan leads the essential data services that AWS customers rely on to create modern cloud-based applications using analytics, machine learning, and generative AI. Mai-Lan was named one of the Top 15 people in Enterprise Artificial Intelligence, and she appeared on the AI 100 and Cloudverse 100 lists which recognize the top 100 leaders innovating in the cloud and in AI, respectively. With over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Mai-Lan is a pioneer in helping customers take advantage of cloud-based technologies to transform their businesses. At Amazon, she is also an advisor to the board of Asians@Amazon, a sponsor for women in technology in AWS, the owner of a monthly leadership training series, and is passionate about AWS initiatives that maximize human potential.

Shaown Nandi
Director of Technology, AWS

Shaown joined AWS 5 years ago, and currently leads technology for AWS Global Sales. He and his worldwide team partner with a range of customers, from start-ups to large enterprises, to build innovative solutions that transform their businesses and industries. Shaown is passionate about helping customers accelerate their adoption of cutting-edge technologies to drive business outcomes. Prior to joining AWS, Shaown served as Chief Information Officer at Dow Jones and Head of Shared Services at News Corp, one of the first enterprise organizations to adopt cloud technology. As CIO, he spearheaded a shared service company called NewsTech to unify IT services across News Corp Business Units worldwide and drove over $100M in cost savings. Shaown has also worked as a global technology executive at IBM, where he managed product development teams in the cloud space. He has an MBA and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.

Dilip Kumar
Vice President, Amazon Q Business

Dilip leads the Amazon Q Business organization, including Q Business, Q Apps, QuickSight, and App Studio. He joined Amazon in July 2003 and has led teams responsible for global retail pricing and promotions strategy, retail supply chain management, worldwide customer demand forecasting, and affiliate marketing strategy. He also served for two years as Jeff Bezos’s Technical Advisor. During his 10 years as VP of Physical Retail and Technology, he oversaw teams responsible for innovations to checkout-free services and biometric identity and payment services, including Just Walk Out technology, Amazon Dash Carts, and Amazon One, that power many of Amazon’s own stores as well as hundreds of third-party brands. In August 2022 he joined AWS, broadening his portfolio to include the retail technology and applications teams, including Amazon Connect, End User Computing, Supply Chain, and Messaging services. He took over the Q for Business teams in May 2024. Dilip was recognized as one of AdWeek’s Top 50 executives for 2022. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science and earned his MBA at The Wharton School.

Nandini Ramani
Vice President, Search, Observability, & CloudOps, AWS

Nandini leads the monitoring and observability cloud services for AWS. For more than two decades, Nandini has been working to break down tech industry barriers and pioneer the design and development of visionary products and go-to-market strategies for industry-transforming startups and global organizations such as Twitter and Oracle. An innovator with 17 patents, she has been recognized as one of the most powerful female engineers by Business Insider, named one of the PharmaVoice 100 and is listed in the Hall of Femme honoring female luminaries.

Ganapathy “G2” Krishnamoorthy
Vice President, Database Services, AWS

G2 is a seasoned database expert with over two decades of significant contributions to the industry. As a key engineer of Microsoft SQL Server, G2 helped advance enterprise database capabilities through innovations in query processing, scale, and performance. At Facebook/Meta, G2 led the development of storage, big data analytics, and machine learning platforms, handling exabytes of data and billions of queries daily. Now at AWS, he’s reimagining both SQL and NoSQL databases as the foundation for agentic AI, applying his extensive experience to shape the future of cloud databases.

 

Colin Lazier
Vice President, AWS Nonrelational Databases, AWS

Colin is the Vice President of AWS Nonrelational Databases, leading the strategy and development of AWS’s industry-leading NoSQL and nonrelational database services, including Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon ElastiCache. A 20+ year Amazon veteran, Colin has helped shape the cloud computing landscape through engineering, product, and leadership roles spanning AWS Compute, Storage, and Databases. He led EC2 engineering during its early years, helping to scale and expand one of the world’s most widely used cloud computing platforms. In Storage, he launched multiple new services that redefined how customers store, manage, and move data at scale. With deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale data services, Colin is passionate about helping customers build resilient, high-performance applications in the cloud.

Dr. Asa Kalavade
Vice President, Migrations & Modernization, AWS

Asa leads migration and modernization products for AWS. Prior to this role, Asa led a multiyear transformation of AWS go-to-market tools and systems, which included generative AI capabilities on Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Q such as on-demand customer research, conversational agents, and semi-autonomous prospecting and pipeline management based on agentic architectures. Before that, she led a portfolio of hybrid storage and data transfer services, helping customers migrate on-premises storage, data, and EDI workflows to AWS. Prior to joining AWS in 2016, Asa founded and ran two venture-backed startups, and she remains active mentoring startups in the Boston community. Asa received her PhD in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley and holds over 40 patents.

Amy Herzog
Vice President and CISO, AWS

Amy joined Amazon in February 2023 as CISO of Ads, Devices and Services, and Amazon’s Media and Entertainment businesses. She brings her extensive experience in software, product leadership, and data to the CISO role, working backwards from customer needs to ensure her businesses ship securely and quickly. Amy’s passion for innovation and data-driven decision making started at the very beginning of her career, where she spent 15 years at the MITRE Corporation innovating solutions to a variety of security problems for different customers. Prior to joining Amazon, Amy spent 10 years co-founding multiple startups and solving enterprise transformation challenges at Pivotal Software, VMware, and Travelers Insurance.

Andy Warfield
Vice President & Distinguished Engineer, AWS

Andy leads a global team of engineers who build some of the largest data services at AWS such as Amazon S3, which is used by millions of customers to run real-time analytics on their data and power their businesses. Over the past six years Andy has led storage integrations for AI/ML workloads, delivered new, high-performance storage services, and reshaped the hardware and infrastructure layers of AWS storage systems. In 2023, Andy and his team also launched Amazon S3 Express One Zone, the world’s fastest cloud object store for request-intensive operations like data analytics and generative AI. Andy has over one hundred patents and research publications and his work has over 20,000 citations. Andy was the recipient of the SIGOPS Hall of Fame Award, which recognizes the most influential Operating Systems papers. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, where he was one of the authors of the Xen hypervisor, an open-source hypervisor that was used as the initial virtualization layer in AWS and other cloud companies.
