Ways to do good
Impact Lounge by AWS Nonprofits
Stop by the Impact Lounge by AWS Nonprofits in The Venetian to learn more about how nonprofits are using the AWS Cloud to help solve the world’s most pressing challenges. Whether you’re an AWS Partner, individual developer, commercial company employee, or nonprofit employee—there's something for you to learn and experience! Stop by the lounge to participate in #GiveBack activities, speak with nonprofits using AWS, learn more from AWS Cloud experts, and visit with Thursday’s keynote speaker Dr. Rebecca Portnoff from nonprofit customer Thorn. Oh and, of course, pick up some SWAG!Hydrate and Help
This year for Hydrate and Help, AWS is partnering with Fill it Forward to support charity: water through a Water Walk. Millions of people around the world are without access to clean and safe drinking water and must walk hours every day to collect water. Come get involved, raise awareness, and experience a bit of what it’s like to walk to get a necessity at the Water Walk in The Venetian.
Also, grab a water bottle from SWAG and stop by any Hydrate and Help station at re:Invent to support charity: water. Each time you refill your bottle and scan the QR code, you’re giving back as well as reducing waste from single-use cups and bottles.
By participating in these activities, you are helping to build water point and sanitation projects at schools in Cambodia. These systems will help students spend less time walking to collect water and more time in school.

The breakout sessions feature speakers from nonprofit organizations and commercial companies sharing how they apply AWS services for mental health crisis intervention, global humanitarian aid, STEM education expansion, health equity innovation, heart disease and sudden cardiac death prevention, financial freedom support, and more. The chalk talks, builders’ sessions, and workshops feature tips, best practices, and hands-on training around modern data strategies, low-code and no-code machine learning, building secure applications, amplifying nonprofit donor and member experience with generative AI, and more, all in the name of impacting nonprofit missions.
