Keynote Reserved Seating

This year, after requests from our customers, we implemented reserved seating for our executive keynotes. You are required to have a reserved seat to enter the keynote hall. Please note that walk-ups will not be admitted, but we do have overflow seating and all keynotes will be livestreamed.

The keynotes at re:Invent 2019 will deliver the latest news about AWS products and services, inspiring you to push boundaries and innovate in the cloud. Join AWS executives and customer guest speakers as we put the spotlight on technical innovation and explore what's possible in the cloud with AWS.


Monday Night Live

7:30PM – 9:00PM

Join Peter DeSantis, VP of AWS Global Infrastructure and Customer Support, to learn how AWS has optimized its cloud infrastructure to run the world’s most demanding workloads. Peter will also share an update on the growth and scale of AWS’ global infrastructure. The first 1,000 attendees will get a Monday Night Live t-shirt.

8:00AM – 11:00AM

Andy Jassy, CEO of AWS, takes the stage Tuesday morning to share his insight and the latest news about AWS customers, products, and services.

Global Partner Summit

8:30AM – 10:30AM

Watch Doug Yeum, Head of AWS Worldwide Channels and Alliances, share how AWS Partners are helping customers transform and innovate using the AWS cloud at the Global Partner Summit Keynote. The keynote features a Fireside Chat with Andy Jassy.

Dr. Werner Vogels

8:30AM – 10:30AM

Join Dr. Werner Vogels, CTO of, to learn about the technical underpinnings of AWS services and the architectural design investments Amazon is making. The first 1,000 guests in the keynote line will get a special piece of swag.

Yes! Reserved seats are required for keynotes: Monday Night Live, Tuesday’s keynote with Andy Jassy, the Global Partner Summit keynote, and Thursday’s keynote with Dr. Werner Vogels. No walk-ins will be admitted.

Livestream options are available for all keynotes. Check the mobile app during the event for more information on viewing options.

You asked, we answered! Over the years, we have heard that attendees want the ability to secure a spot in one or multiple keynotes like our other breakout content. Now you can.

Additionally, this will allow you to better plan your time at re:Invent, as you will know whether or not you can attend the keynote in person.

All general attendees can reserve seats in the keynotes. AWS employees, booth staff, and vendors cannot reserve seats in the keynotes.

Reserved seating for the keynotes will open on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 8:00 AM PT. A portion of the available seats will be held back and released on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 6:00 PM PT to accommodate different time zones.

Yes! You can reserve a seat in as many of the four keynotes as you would like to attend: Monday Night Live, Tuesday’s keynote with Andy Jassy, the Global Partner Summit keynote, and Thursday’s keynote with Dr. Werner Vogels.

Once you are registered for re:Invent, log in to the session catalog using your registration credentials. To reserve a seat, check the session catalog, and then click on the title of the session you are interested in reserving a seat in. A link will appear prompting you to reserve a seat for that session.

No, you use the same account you created to register for re:Invent.

You must have a reserved seat in the keynote to attend; walk-ins will not be admitted. All keynotes will be streamed live. You can also watch Tuesday’s keynote with Andy Jassy and Thursday’s keynote with Dr. Werner Vogels in the following overflow locations (you do not need to reserve a seat in the overflow locations):
